Spread the Love…Thursday Tops

“Today we’re younger than we ever gonna be.” – Regina Spektor, Small Town Moon

I thought longer and harder about my 2013 resolutions than I have in the past. I guess you could say I have a lot to work on. And so I categorized my lofty self-improvement list into 3 words: Peace. Love. Fearless.

I know what you’re thinking, these words are misused, trite, and practically void of substance, but I’m re-inflating them with passion – (I’ll refrain from detailing my resolutions so as to prevent boredom, not to mention, sharing them would be bizarre). Here are some of my favorite, most inspiring quotes that you may also find worthy of aspiring to.

  • “Be more concerned with your character than your reputation, because your character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely what others think you are.” – John Wooden
  • “For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for pose, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone.” – Audrey Hepburn
  • “Peace. It does not mean to be in a place where there is no trouble, noise, or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart.” – Unknown
  • “A coward is incapable of exhibiting love; it is the prerogative of the brave.” – Mahatma Gandhi

And while those profound words of wisdom marinate, how about some music?! My first Thursday Tops of 2013 – I promise, these babies are gewdddd.
